Canadians drink 15.6 litres of wine per person per year, well ahead of Americans. Wine consumption is growing consistently with over $ 5 billion CAD sold in 2017, as beer and spirit consumption decline. While red wine is the most popular, sparkling products are booming, particularly among younger consumers and Asian- Canadians.
